The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is one of the most important amendments added with the Bill of Rights. The text of that amendment is also quite simple: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Fox News’s motto is that they’re “Fair and Balanced,” I believe that, that is truer now than it has ever been. When President Bush was in office, everyday was an Iraq war casualty update, and today is the same thing. The same people are still with Fox News, Geraldo (Democrat/Socialist), Sheppard Smith (Democrat), etc. There are only difference between Fox News and the other network news outlets. 1. Fox News actually allows Conservatives to work, and be Conservative. 2. When a person is found out to be a Conservative they’re a. not immediately fired, or b. put into a though-changing camp.
The reason for the freedom of the press is and was for one reason only… The founding fathers wanted the press and citizens of this great nation to know what its government was doing the entire time. They also wanted the citizenry to know current events and again to know exactly what was going on in their country at any given time.
Of course in the beginning there were only newspapers, and there was no e-mail, telephone, or other devices. The newspapers took awhile to update so began the pamphlet. It was easy to print, easy to distribute and was able to update the citizens of every situation. The Press has direct freedom from the Constitution because the founders knew it was vitally important to keep the government in check. Today however most of the press doesn’t check the government, instead they back up the Democrat party politicians. When Ron Paul was interviewed about his bill which would Audit the Federal Reserve, some News Agencies criticized him about this even though in the latest polls the American people want the Fed Audited.
So what does this indicate? Either one the Press is behind the times with the American people, or two the Press is behind the Politicians; if it is two instead of one, we’ll continue to see any candidate who is not a Democrat treated like garbage, and Democrats will be backed up 100% as they more or less are today.
When we have a media event with President Obama and he tells them that most of the voted for him; and he gets an applause we know there is something wrong. Because truth is, most of the probably did vote for him, and most of them endorsed him as well. The point is: The Press is supposed to inform the American people not endorse candidates for political office or follow their talking points to the letter.

I’m proud to be an American, but I’m not alone!!
November 9, 2009
By: David A.W. Hittle
I’m proud to be an American, but I’m not alone. Millions of Muslim Americans are proud to be Americans as well. Some are born here others; emigrate here to escape the torment of their own country. Listening to the radio today, I’ve been hearing Americans frightened about Muslims being in our Armed Forces.
The attack on Fort Hood, by a lone Muslim solider has gotten Americans abreast once again about terrorism in our country. This is for good reason we were attacked on September 11, 2001 by a group of Arab men. Americans have the right to be afraid, but we must not let our fear turn to panic; we must not think because of one Muslim man, all Muslims are bad, because that is just not the case. There are plenty of Muslims in this country that just want to live their lives in a free society, away from the terror and turmoil of where they may have come from. Some of these men and women will come from Iraq others from Iran, or elsewhere, for a better life in the melting pot we call America.
We must maintain that we’re Americans… We are not African Americans, we are not Chinese Americans, and we are not Muslim Americans, or Japanese Americans, but AMERICANS!!! We’re here striving for one thing and one thing only: THE AMERICAN DREAM!!! Everyone has their own interpretation of the American Dream but every Americans knows when they have achieved that dream. Let us as Americans not make the mistakes of the past. In the beginning of this country, Indians were rounded up and carted off, or killed. In the 1940s Japanese Americans were rounded up and put into camps; and that sounds similar to what Germany was doing that we were attempting to halt.
I believe in my heart, that Muslims are good people, there are some radical Muslims that are hell-bent on death and destruction but for the most part the Muslim people are just as peaceful as the Christian people, or the Jewish people, or any other group.
Let us understand that we’re all people, we are all worthy in God’s eyes, and that we all have gifts!!
Let us understand that just because someone is a Muslim or a Jew, or a Hindu, or a Buddhist or a Christian doesn’t make them bad people, it makes them God Fearing people, and those are the best type of people!!
Let us understand that we’re all put on this planet to co-exist and to get along.
Let us understand that we’re all Americans, and we all deserve a peaceful world.
Let’s not be afraid of each other, but instead get to know each other.
The Golden Rule: “Treat others as you would like them to treat you.” Let us live by the principle!!

U.S. House passes Pelosi/Obama Care Bill
11/7/2009
By: David A.W. Hittle
Tonight as I sit in the capitol of Kentucky watching CSPAN in a hotel room, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats passed Healthcare through the U.S. House.
The final vote was 220-215 with 219 Democrats voting yes & 39 voting no; as well as 1 Republican voting yes & 176 voting no. The one no vote from our side was Joseph Gao, the new representative from Louisiana. I believe that this will be Mr. Gao’s first and last election to the House.
The House bill now goes to the Senate in which is also supposed to vote on the bill this up coming week; if the Senate passes the bill, it will forever change America, and I believe in the negative.
Let us all hope and pray that the Senate is unable to pass this bill!!

What is the Republican Party thinking?
11/3/2009
By: David A.W. Hittle
Today we see three close races between Republicans and Democrats, we have the biggest reported race in New York’s district 23, which was between Dede Scozzafava (RINO), Bill Owens (Democrat), and Doug Hoffman (Conservative). This race was special due to the fact that the Republican/Conservative Hoffman split the vote off from Scozzafava. However when the polls started coming out, what happened in the race? Scozzfava (RINO) dropped out of the race, and she didn’t just drop out she endorsed, no not the Republican/Conservative but the DEMOCRAT!!!! The Republican Party, OUR Republican Party, spent tons of money attacking Hoffman and endorsing Scozzafava. The Republican dropped out and endorsed the Democrat; now the Republican Party is “running around like a chicken with their head cut off,” they threw money behind the RINO, and she turned out not to be a RINO but a Democrat. She was an Arlen Spector.
I don’t blame Hoffman one bit for running against this supposed Republican, looking at her beliefs she was so far left, that I have no clue how she could have been picked up by the Republicans. She is Pro-Choice, she is Pro-Gay Marriage, she is a Democrat or at least a very left leaning Republican. But, still even with that in the Republican parties face, the Party backed her, over the Republican Party and I want to know why, and I think I have the answer already.
Michael Steele when he was running for the Chairmanship of the Republican Party stated that he wanted more moderate republicans to run i.e. people like Scozzafava; I and Rush Limbaugh agree, we just did that 12 months ago we ran Senator John McCain for President of the United States, and what happened he lost, to an extremely socialist Obama.
Have you noticed how the Republican Party is supposed to run Moderate Republicans, while the Democrats run far left-wing Socialist/Communists? The Republican Party is moving more left while the Democrat part is moving further left. This will not win the Republican Party elections nor will it please the American people. Barrack Obama ran as a Moderate and it turns out he was an insane liberal, John McCain ran as Moderate and well… we know where he stands on the important issues…
Moderates in my opinion are ruining the Republican Party, and in the case of Olympia Snowe, Arlen Spector, and others defecting from the Party and voting with democrats on insanely expensive, insanely intrusive, and insanely liberal plans. If the Republican Party continues to run candidates like Scozzafava instead of running candidates like Hoffman, the Republican Party is going to lose, and people like Obama are going to win, and America is going to suffer for it.
Ladies and gentlemen we must have more races like the one in New York, the Conservative is a Republican, and they join the Republicans when the Republican candidate is a Conservative, but if the candidate is a wishy-washy Republican or in Scozzfava’s case a Democrat then the Conservatives must run the Republican out of the race.
Rush Limbaugh reported that this act is occurring all over the country, where the Conservatives are running against the RINOs. I hope this happens more and more, because it will make the country a better place!!!

500 Bucks for all newborn Americans?
10/7/2009
By: David A.W. Hittle
Written based upon: Yahoo Article (http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnews/20091006/ts_usnews/comingsoon500foreverynewborn)
Today I learned of a plan the government is currently cooking up that would supply every newborn baby in the United States with a $500 savings account. This program known as the ASPIRE Act (America Saving for Personal Investment, Retirement and Education). The program according to Yahoo is meant to help Americans save money. Impoverished children or children of low-income families would receive more money in their savings account.
First thing I’d ask is has this been tried anywhere? If it has been, how did it go there? Well let’s see here: according to Yahoo Finance this program has been tried in the U.K. The program in the U.K. requires that the money stay put until the child is 18 years of age. Making the recipients of this plan only 7 years old right now. However right now the average amount in each account is $600.00; that’s right ladies and gentlemen $100 in 7 years? So by the time the children are 14 they’ll have accumulated 200 additional dollars from this plan. Now mind you the economy is bad right now, but still only $200.00 in 14 years??? The program here in the U.S. is supposed to help children pay for Higher education, their first home or retirement according to the Yahoo Finance article. I don’t know what school you could get into for only $500.00 I guess it would pay for your textbooks for one semester (maybe…) It won’t pay too much on your first home either, $500.00 might pay for first month’s rent, or maybe first month’s utilities… Retirement: I don’t think so, unless you’re planning on retiring in a nice cardboard box, I don’t think $500.00 is going to be enough.
However maybe I’m being too cynical let’s look at the figures on this using the U.K. data:
$500.00 is given at birth
$600.00 was the average at age 7
$700.00 would be the total at age 14
Now if the child left the money alone here is the data using the above data.
$800.00 would be the total at age 21
$900.00 at 28
$1000.00 at 35
$1,100.00 at 42
$1,200.00 at 49
$1,300.00 at 56
$1,400.00 at 63 – About retirement age
So if you left the money you had received from the government alone for 63 years you will have accumulated $900.00.
How much is this going to cost the American people???
According to the Yahoo Finance Article, in the first decade it will cost the American people: $37.5 Billion. Just in 10 years, and the child will only earn $100.00 in seven of those years… For the program to cover all 18 years it will cost about: $75 Billion if no more children were born… All of that ladies and gentlemen for 200 bucks over 14 years…
If the government today gave American roughly 300 million people $500.00 it would cost the government: one hundred and billion dollars or $150,000,000,000. This program ladies and gentlemen is just another entitlement program that we cannot afford, and guess what? Republicans and Democrats support the bill!! Doesn’t it feel great to be an American?

Is this the most dangerous time since the Cold War?
September 29, 2009
By: David A.W. Hittle
Yesterday I told my grandparents what I thought about the world, and that is this: “Today/today’s time is the most dangerous time since the Cold War.” We now have a President in Barack Obama that has only talked to his General in Afghanistan once in the Obama’s entire presidency. We have President Obama change the rules in Afghanistan to protecting the Afghan Civilians at all costs, no matter if American forces are in danger or not. August 2009 was the deadliest month for our military in Afghanistan throughout the entire war…
We have a President in Barack Obama that has de-armed our allies, but discontinuing the Missile Defense System. With the swoop of his pen he made Poland, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and all other Easter European countries. Being allies with the United States puts these nations at risk, and President Obama threw them under the bus, just like he did his grandmother. What was the response from the rogue nation we were trying to defend these countries from? Iran launched missiles capable of hitting Israel. So we didn’t just put our Eastern European allies at risk, we put one of our greatest allies at risk as well. Israel is now contemplating attacking Iran’s nuclear facility, and why, wouldn’t they they feel a threat from Iran.
Our President is not sitting down with the Afghan general right now, he is flying to Copenhagen, and why would he be flying to Copenhagen you might ask? Ladies and gentlemen he is flying to Copenhagen to persuade the Olympic committee to hold the 2016 U.S. Olympics in… none other than Chicago, Illinois the most corrupt city in the nation.
I have seen things like this for awhile growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, going to public schools and having to deal with this type of stuff every day; however nothing compared to what occurred in Chicago the other day. The headline was posted on Drudge Report was this: “OLYMPIC SPIRIT: VIDEO SHOWS BRUTAL GANG MURDER IN CHICAGO” however this headline didn’t say enough… A black child was killed, he tried to defend his friend from a gang, and he was attacked himself. He was hit and kicked, and hit and kicked, hit with a rail-road tie. The young man died… This is the city President Barack Obama wants the Olympics to be held. Video: http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/video_derrion_albert I ask of you all who may come across this blog, and read it. Is this not, the most dangerous time, or is this just business as usual, when does it get better, and will it get better? I hope these questions can be answered because all I see is a country going downhill… A wonderful country going downhill…
This was the first country to have our governmental system, this country defeated the biggest military in the world to become free, this country fought a civil war to end slavery, this country defend its friends by defending them in WW1 and then again in WW2, we defeated a Super Power without firing a shot, we built the biggest economy in the world, we are the United States of America. May God Bless our country!!!

Today 8 years ago

Today 8 years ago, our country was attacked, by a group of people who hate America because we’re free. These people hate America because we give rights and freedoms to our people. Unlike them we give everyone, man, woman, and child, the same equal rights. I have said recently that we are losing our freedoms, and I still believe this, however we will always, no matter what happens to us, we’ll always be freer then these people who hate us…
The attacks on our country were not a crime, they didn’t just occur against one person, one group, one race, or even one religion; this was not a crime. The attacks on our country were an act of war; because it was against more than one person, more than one group, more than one race, and was against more than one religion. This was a wake-up call for America, that no more is peace and safety, but the future is war.
However this war is and was different than any other war before it. In past wars we were hit or we were attacked, or we were invaded by one or more countries. This group of people we’re not soldiers of any country, they were not mercenaries hired to attack a country; they were and are terrorists. When Japan attacked the United States on Pearl Harbor, with was an act of war, and the United States Congress acted likewise, by declaring war on Japan. When Great Britain invaded the United States Colonies and started to impose harsh laws on these colonies the leaders our Founding Fathers declared our independence and we declared war on Great Britain. Crimes… None of these events were, they were and are Acts of War against the United States of America.
Today 8 years ago, an act of war was perpetrated on America it was not a crime against America, but it was an act of war against America. Let us never forget the day our nation was attacked, let us never forget who perpetrated this act against us, and let us never become so complacent that we forget that we are at war; with a group of people who hate us not because we're Americans, but because we're free!! Let us never forget this: On September 11, 2001 the American people said, “We Shall Never Forget!!” The American people saw U.S. Flags rose all over the country, we became more patriotic, and that is the way we must be.
Tomorrow we will see Americans from all over the country descend on Washington D.C. to protest our government and how out of control that government is.
Let us all remember that they (the government) work for us, and that we do not work for them.
Let us all remember that they (the government) represent us, and that we do not represent them.
Let us all remember that we (the American people) are the bosses, and that we only allow (the government) to work at our pleasure.
If the government doesn’t want to follow the rules prescribed in the Constitution than they do not deserve to be our government any longer… Let us kick out those who refuse to follow the rules, and keep those who actually work for us, and not themselves.
I wish the men, women, and children who will be attending the 9/12 Project the best of luck, they are doing the work that our founding fathers did over 200 years ago.
Let’s hope that our government will learn a little something from this project, and not just pass them along as crazies. Because these Americans represent what millions of Americans are thinking, believing a requesting, and they deserve to be heard!

The Most Dangerous Czar

Van Jones was at one time the most dangerous czar, but since he has quit, the most dangerous czar now is Cass Sunstein. Cass Sunstein has been nominated by President Barack Obama as the U.S. Regulatory Czar for the United States. He must be nominated by the United States Senate. A few minutes ago I called my senators for the first time ever telling them to not vote for this man. However as always I will provide proof for why I told my Senators to vote no, this evidence is from a website that has been compiled to stop Cass Sunstein from being nominated as with everything of mine it is biased. Here are some quotes from Cass Sunstein himself:
(Stop Sunstein) "[A]lmost all gun control legislation is constitutionally fine. And if the Court is right, then fundamentalism does not justify the view that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to bear arms." - Cass Sunstein, writing in his book, "Radicals in Robes" "Animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives …" - 2004 book Animal Rights: Current Debates and New Directions
"[Humans’] willingness to subject animals to unjustified suffering will be seen … as a form of unconscionable barbarity… morally akin to slavery and the mass extermination of human beings." - Cass Sunstein, in a 2007 speech at Harvard University
"[T]here should be extensive regulation of the use of animals in entertainment, in scientific experiments, and in agriculture." - Cass Sunstein, “The Rights of Animals: A Very Short Primer,” August 2002.
"A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government." -Cass Sunstein, arguing for a Fairness Doctrine for the Internet in his book, Republic.com 2.0 (page 137).
This are just a few quotes from this man but from them you can see just how crazy and outrageous this man is, he must not be confirmed, he is the most dangerous czar.

Hope and Change
By: David A.W. Hittle
How is that hope and change working out for everyone? If you are like me you are still progressing through the day, but just with less money in your pocket. The economy is continuing to plummet. Unemployment is skyrocketing, and people are losing jobs at a 26-year-high. The Obama administration says: “The stimulus plan is working better than we thought it would.” What has worked about it Mr. President? What has worked out of the stimulus package? To date only about 10% of the stimulus has even been spent, and it is working better than we thought? The stimulus package has done nothing, o wait I can’t say it has done nothing it has done this:
(Wikipedia)The Stimulus Package was passed on February 2009:
(Sun Financial Diary) The unemployment rate in February 2009 was 8.1%
(Treasury Department) The National Debt was $10.6 Trillion in February 2009
(Google) The current unemployment rate is 9.7% however Fed Officials say it is 16.8%
(Debt Clock) The current National Debt is $11.8 Trillion ($38,433 per citizen)
So we see that the Stimulus package has done something after all, it has raised our unemployment from 8.1% to 9.7% and the Obama administration says that “IT WILL” hit 10%. The Obama administration has also said that this economic recovery may be a “jobless” one!!!
WHAT THE HELL GOOD DOES THAT DO??? What good is a jobless economy, if the government is making money but the people aren’t what good of the economy recovering? There is a problem with the logic here ladies and gentlemen. The problem is there is no such thing as a jobless economic recovery. According to Bloomberg: 70% of the U.S. economy is consumer spending; what occurs to the U.S. economy when we have a “jobless” economy? There is no recovery ladies and gentlemen if the people have no jobs. As I said earlier federal officials have stated that the real unemployment rate is 16.8%. However this unemployment rate really doesn’t matter; to see a true unemployment rate let’s look at State unemployment rates.
(Labor Department – as of July 2009) Michigan currently has the highest unemployment rate at: 15%. North Dakota has the lowest at 4.2%. In the states is where it matters; in the states is where the people are struggling. What is your government doing while the unemployment rate is between 4.2% and 15%? They are trying to force down your throat higher taxes in a HealthCare bill, and a Climate Change Bill. They want to spend up to $2 trillion on this HealthCare bill which will be added to our debt and increase it over $13 Trillion. The Climate Change Bill will increase taxes on your homes, as well as businesses. It will also raise the cost of Gasoline at a time where the American people need all the money they earn.
Now why would our government do this, why would our government raise our taxes, or why would they raise the cost of energy and gasoline at a time when the country is hurting?
I believe there is only one reason, for it; the Obama administration wants the ability to Socialize this government. Now I will lose a lot of readers after posting that, but what other reason could there be? The American people are hurting terribly, they are putting their wallets away, and not buying that toy their child wants, or not going out to eat with their family because they are uncertain of whether they’ll have a job in the coming weeks.
I believe ladies and gentlemen that this government, with its “Czars” and its “special advisors,” are attempting to turn this country backwards, and they are being successful, except they forgot about the one thing that might stand in the way… What is this road-block they have encountered? It is you; you have stopped a HealthCare bill that you know is bad, no matter how many times they attempt to tell you’re wrong. You know you’re not wrong, because you have read the bill, something that your government doesn’t do very often.
Ladies and gentlemen I will let you decide whether you think the country is on the road to socialism or not, it is just my opinion; what is yours; comment this blog and tell me what you think is going on in this wonderful country of ours, because it is changing dangerously every day, and it must be stopped!

It would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our choice to silence our fears for the safety of our rights; that confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism; free government is founded in jealousy, and not in confidence; it is jealousy and not confidence, which prescribes limited Constitution to bind down those whom we obliged to trust with power; that our Constitution has accordingly fixed the limits to which, and no further, our confidence may go…
In questions of power, then, let no more be said of confidence in man, BUT BIND HIM DOWN from Mischief by the chains of the Constitution. (The Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, Annals of America, 4:65-66)

Remember when your parents told you that, “nothing in life is free”? Well I sure remember it and I now know and understand what they meant. Even in the best country in the world, the United States of America nothing here is free. The Obama administration wants to give all people Health Care, in which everyone could have government healthcare; not like what Congress has, but a new kind of healthcare that took 1,067 pages of paper to come up with.
However when the government gives you this insurance, will it be free??? Well if we remember what our parents told us, the answer is absolutely not. And you know what? They are right. Anything that you get from the government costs either:
1. You
2. Someone else or
3. Both.
Usually anything that we get from our government is paid for by both you, and someone else, and usually a whole bunch of other people.
I hear students at my college all the time saying they don’t pay for college, that’s right they don’t the government gives them a grant, scholarship, or other financial aid, the government pays the college, and they are in school. However they did pay for it, because they did file tax papers. So when you say I don’t pay anything to go to school, yes you do… You paid taxes so you go to school. I have a theory on this though ladies and gentlemen. I have paid so far to the Federal, State, and Local Governments: $1,844 that is the cost of one semester of my tuition. I have made over $5,000 this year, if I didn’t have to pay taxes, I could pay for myself to go to school instead of waiting for the government to help me…
But back to healthcare, let’s remember that everyone in the United States: White, black, brown, yellow, red, no matter the color; no matter legal or illegal citizen is guaranteed because of Federal law, to be treated at a hospital. All Americans are guaranteed healthcare. However no one has the right to guaranteed Health Insurance. Think of it like this ladies and gentlemen, you pay a huge amount in taxes… Just imagine having to pay health insurance as well. I looked up how much it would cost me: a 20 year, full time student, non-smoker to get Health Insurance, the total came to $25.00+ a month which is $300.00 per year, which is not bad, but that $300.00 is paid whether I get sick, whether I am put into a hospital, or whether I never get sick at all that $300.00 comes out of my pocket. I wanted to figure how it compares so I put in the form that I was 21 and the cost, for just one year of life now costs $26.00+ a month. At 30 years old I had jumped from $25.00+ a month to over $40.00 per month, again whether I get sick or not…
Does this seem fair ladies and gentlemen? Should I have to pay $25.00 a month whether I get sick or not??? Wouldn’t it be just as better to sit aside $25.00 a month, so that when I do get sick, I have that money to take care of me? That seems like a better idea to me, however I’d be wrong according to the government.
The government plan that President Obama tried to shove through before the Congressional Vacations, orders all Americans to have Health Insurance, either through the government, or through an “approved” health insurance company (approved of course by the government). What happens if we don’t get this “approved” health care insurance??? Well the Federal Government fines you on your taxes an additional $2,500. (Sec. 401-Sec. 59B-Line 20-23 Pg. 167) Now does that really seem fair??? The Federal Government tells you to pay for Health Insurance, but if you don’t they take even more money from you???
However this Obama Health Insurance Bill is even better, because it does almost exactly what people have to go through now… If you have a special-need or have a child with special needs, you understand how hard it is to get Health Insurance, well the government was supposed to cover those, but… (Sec. 1176-Part 3-Line 13-25-pg. 353) The bill states and I quote:
“PART 3—TREATMENT OF SPECIAL NEEDS PLANS SEC. 1176. LIMITATION ON ENROLLMENT OUTSIDE OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD OF INDIVIDUALS INTO CHRONIC CARE SPECIALIZED MA PLANS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS. Section 1859(f)(4) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w–28(f)(4)) is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph (C) The plan does not enroll an individual on or after January 1, 2011, other than during an annual, coordinated open enrollment period or when at the time of the diagnosis of the disease or condition that qualifies the individual as an individual described in subsection 2 (b)(6)(B)(iii).” The bill continues with this Part 4… and I quote again:
“SEC. 1177. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY OF SPECIAL NEEDS PLANS TO RESTRICT ENROLLMENT. (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 1859(f)(1) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w–28(f)(1)) is amended by striking January 1, 2011 and inserting January 1, 2013 (or January 1, 2016, in the case of a plan described in section 1177(b)(1) of the Americas Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009). So while Health Insurance companies try their hardest to not enroll special needs individuals, the government does the exact same thing…
Ladies and gentlemen this is just two specific items of the bill that disturb me the most. Ladies and gentlemen I ask you, is it worth it to completely destroy the system we have now, for a new system that is the same as Canada’s and Britain’s which are both failing now… I say this bill is not worth, it and it should fail, it should be scraped and it should be erases from their minds because the American people do not want it.
If you are against this bill here are some facts that will make you feel less alone:
59% against passage of the HealthCare Bill (Quinnipiac Poll)
42% support passage of the HealthCare Bill (US News)
54% say passing no HealthCare Bill is better than the current bill (Rasmussen)
34% say that passage of the HealthCare Bill would worsen medical care in the U.S. (Gallup)
If Congress really wants to fix Health Care in this country, and make the U.S. have an even better Health Care system, the following things should be done… (These things won’t be done because the current Congress wants more power)
The Republicans have a separate bill that they have come up with, which is H.R. 2520 for those wanting to read themselves. This bill unlike what has been being shoved down the American people’s throat is only 248 pages only. There are few things in this bill that would be great for America and here are some of those:
1. Prevention of Diseases, instead of “just” treatment of diseases after they have been gotten.
2. Focuses the “Food Stamp Program” on nutrition rather than “Free” food.
3. This bill doesn’t require an individual to jump on the plan if they don’t wish too.
4. This bill allows for two states to come together and give both states citizens healthcare.
5. This bill allows the government to give a tax incentive for families to get healthcare insurance.
6. This bill allows for cost of living increases on the tax incentives mentioned above.
7. Allows for a Health Insurance Reserve Account for citizens, which they can put to paying medical bills.
8. This bill increases the amount a person can place into their “Health Savings Accounts.”
9. Allows employers to put into an employee’s “Health Savings Account” instead of having to provide insurance.
As with every bill this government comes up with, not all of it is good, however H.R. 2520 (Republican Bill) is far superior than H.R. 3200 (Obama Bill).
I believe if a person wants Health Insurance, they should pay for it…
I believe if a person wants a prescription they should pay for it…
I believe that the only type of Health Insurance that should exist is Insurance for “Catastrophic” procedures, or procedures that would bankrupt a normal American citizen.
That is the Health Insurance we need, anything else is just a waste of money, and you will not see me with it.
Tell me what you think? David A.W. Hittle

Today the American people are more afraid than ever before, not because of terrorism or the threat there of, not because of an ever shrinking economy, and not even about whether they’ll be able to pay the rent; but they are afraid of losing their freedoms, their liberties, and their rights. For over 20 years Presidents and Congress’s both Democratic and Republican have been damaging our country with unconstitutional laws, bills, and acts.
Before yesterday I had never read the Patriot Act of 2001 or of 2008. The 2001 Patriot Act was passed by a Republican Congress, while the 2008 Patriot Act was passed by a Democratic Congress. As I said I had not read the bill/act until just yesterday after hearing something; Judge Andrew Napolitano has said. He stated that: “The Patriot Act allowed for federal officials to write their own search warrants…” Not believing everything I hear on TV or on the internet, I went and looked it up and come to find out it was absolutely true.
The Act states and I quote: “…enforcement officers designated or authorized by the Board or a reserve bank under paragraph (1) or (2) are authorized while on duty to carry firearms and make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States committed in their presence, or for any felony…” That statement gave Police Officers authorized by the federal government, to write their own arrest warrants…” If the government can just say write your own warrant, what is it for the government to just say, you don’t need a warrant just go on in…
Ladies and gentlemen I have been blogging about the Amendments to the Constitution; which Amendment does this bill violate? Let’s look here: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and ‘NO WARRANTS SHALL ISSUE, BUT UPON PROBABLY CAUSE, SUPPORTED BY OATH OR AFFIRMATION,’ and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” I don’t know I may have given it away there, but I believe and so do many others that, this bill especially this statement violates the Constitution of the United States, and therefore is Unconstitutional.
Now let me make a statement here before everyone goes crazy on me here. I understand why the Congress, the President and members of the United States Government thought they needed this power. It was after September 11, 2001 the government wanted to make sure that the people were protected. …BUT… It is not the government’s job to keep us safe, and that is illustrated by this Supreme Court opinion: “…A government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any particular individual citizen… (Warren v. District of Columbia)” The only job that the President has, is to keep the citizens of the United States Free. The job of the Congress is to pass laws that keep American’s free and the Supreme Court’s job is to eliminate laws that make American’s less free. THAT IS IT!!!
It is not President Bush’s job to keep us safe,
It is not President Obama’s job to keep us safe,
It was not President Clinton’s job to keep us safe,
It is not a President’s job to keep the country safe, the reason it is not their job to do such things is because doing so would interfere with the American people’s rights, and liberties… The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, allows citizens to keep themselves safe. We have a military that keeps America safe, and we have a police force, that could come or go as it did during the Katrina disaster…
The founding fathers of this country knew that if invaded, or if attacked by a foreign country, or by internal forces, it would take the government too long to arrive that is why the American people have the right to keep… and … Bear… Arms… The American people have the right to defend themselves and their fellow citizens…
So while the American people are afraid of their rights being taken away, we see an increase in gun sales, we see a decrease in taxes being paid, and we see citizens going to their “Representatives,” and telling them to get on the ball.
America must stand up and speak out, use your voice as your weapon…
Bring your video cameras to the town hall meetings use your video cameras as your weapon of freedom.
Let your voice be heard by the masses and by the YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, because as the word implies they represent you, not the other way around…
Ladies and gentlemen, you are being considered un-American if you stand up and protest, let’s show them that standing up and protesting is the most American thing a citizen can do. Let’s show them, that their thoughts and opinions don’t matter, because it is our thoughts and opinions that they represent… Let’s take our country back, let’s replace the bad Congressional Members, and the bad Senatorial Members, and replace them with people who will actually do what their job entails, which is to represent their constituents.
TELL THEM LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!
TELL THEM AMERICA!!!
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!!!
USE YOUR VOICE TO STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK!!!
DO NOT BE SILENCED!!!
DO NOT BE SHUT-UP!!!
DO WHAT THE DECLARATION SAYS TO DO IN SITUATIONS LIKE THIS!!!
And that is:
“In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for redress in the ‘MOST HUMBLE’ terms…” BE HUMBLE BE POLITE RESPECT THE OFFICE, JUST TELL THEM WHAT YOU THINK, WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO, THEY REPRESENT YOU NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!

On Tuesday I started our expedition on the Constitution of the United States of America. The Constitution is complex but it is easy to understand; it is written in the plain language of the time, and is available for free from the Heritage Foundation. (http://www.heritage.org/morningbell/) Ladies and gentlemen The Fourth Amendment is as vast and great as the First Amendment; however it has a protective power. This Amendment specifically spelled out the Federal Government what they couldn’t do to an individual. Let’s look at The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States:
Amendment 4: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and not Warrants shall issue, but upon probably cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
As I stated above this Amendment is pretty complex and vast, but it is one of the most important amendments for it protects the American from too much government control. Let’s dissect this amendment one by one…
“The right of the people to be secure in their houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures…” This statement provided that the Federal Government not be allowed to search your home, your papers or your effects (property) unreasonably. In my High School’s Law & Justice course we learned about various Supreme Court decisions that correlate with what this Amendment stands for. At one time, only the Federal government was stopped by this amendment however with the passage of the Fourteenth Amendment these rights were asserted to the states. Before the Fourteenth Amendment however federal agents would wait for State officials to come and do their work for them.
…”and now Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause…” This means and asserted that (at the time) federal agents get a warrant from a judge before they were allowed to search a person’s home. However as I said above the federal government was able to get around all of this by having State Law Enforcement do the searching for them.
…”supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” This statement of course protected the citizen from federal intrusion, however as said above until the Fourteenth amendment the states didn’t comply with this constitutional right…
However, in 2009 we have The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution and therefore are 100% protected by the fourth amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
Please visit my website at www.thedavidhittleshow.com, please continue to read my blogs they’re all over the internet now. Thank you for reading my blogs and thank you for your time. Until next time, take care and God Bless!!

The Third Amendment to the United States Constitution is one that is not used too often, it s a right granted to us because of the founders concern about rulers, being too controlling. Like most rights in the Bill of Rights it is set to protect American citizens from their governments. Let’s get to know “The Third Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.”
Amendment 3: No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner proscribed by law.” I believe from my readings of the Constitution and of the founders; that this amendment was established to keep the government from being able to control one’s life. One way of a government getting what they want, place a Federal Government Military Soldier in one’s home. This amendment was also established based upon what the British government was doing to the United States before the Revolutionary War. They would place “Red Coats”, in the homes of American citizens. These soldiers would be quartered in the home, and would require home owners to feed them, their men, and their horses or other animals. The soldiers would more or less enslave American citizens to aid them in any way they required.
Since this Amendment has passed Federal Laws have changed so much that, the President of the United States has no authority to send National Guard or Military troops into a city without State or approval i.e. Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans, LA. However that law is in place for good reasons, and there are other laws governing such activities as well. There are laws that do not allow military troops to be used in a “Law Enforcement,” role as well.
All of these laws were brought about by the Third Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, and in today’s very scary time, we have to thank God we have such a brilliant Constitution that protects us as Americans, and keeps Government from interfering with our lives too much.
I would like thank you for reading today’s blog, I have been doing one daily so I hope everyone has been able to keep up. As I promised yesterday, I’m going to write a blog about the Second Amendment today but first let us read the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States:
Amendment 2: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” These 27 words have kept America save for well over 200 years. However until just recently people especially “Anti-Gun” politicians relied on the words, “…well regulated Militia…” as to say that individual Americans have no right to carry or “bear” Arms. The Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller June 26, 2008 No. 07-290. The affirming justices stated clearly that: “The Constitution leaves the District of Columbia a variety of tools for combating that problem, including some measures regulating handguns, see supra, at 54-55, and n. 26.” “But the enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table. These include the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home. Undoubtedly some think that the Second Amendment is outmoded in a society where our standing army is the pride of our Nation, where well-trained police forces provide personal security, and where gun violence is a serious problem. That is perhaps debatable, but what is not debatable is that it is not the role of this Court to pronounce the Second Amendment extinct.”
With this decision all cities and states that banned all out all weapons or handguns, are in violation of the Constitution of the United States. I assume this would include the expired “Assault Weapons Ban.” From the opinion and the affirming judgment above, the Supreme Court has indicated that the Second Amendment grants an “individual right,” and not a right just for a “Militia.” However the Supreme Court in the affirming opinion stated this: “absolute prohibition of handguns held.” Those words may mean, that if the “Assault Weapons Ban,” comes upon the desk of the President of the United States a new lawsuit will be required. However thankfully, due to the coming elections for people such as Senate Majority Leader: Harry Reid (D-NV) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a new “Assault Weapons,” ban brought forth by Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder, will not be coming forth anytime soon. Reid’s spokesman Jim Manley stated: “Sen. Reid would oppose an effort [to] reinstate the ban if the Senate were to vote on it in the future.” (http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/reid-joins-pelosi-in-opposing-weapons-ban-revival-2009-02-26.html)
In 2008 5 Republicans sponsored a revival to the “Assault Weapons Ban,” this was H.R. 6257 which was sponsored by Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL), Rep. Michael Castle (R-DE), Rep. Michael Ferguson, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), and Rep. Christopher Shays. – Mark Kirk is still a Representative, Michael Castle is also still a Representative, Rep. Michael Ferguson was succeeded by Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ) in 2008, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is still a Representative, and Rep. Christopher Hayes was succeeded by Jim Himes (D-CT).
So, 2 Republicans paid for this sponsorship with their jobs even though this bill never got out of committee. That alone shows the power of the Second amendment. I could sit here and print the number of people and the companies and the organizations and every person who is against the “right to bear Arms, but that would just be to use space, I will otherwise post the link and you can check it out for yourself… (http://www.nraila.org/Issues/FactSheets/Read.aspx?id=15&issue=011)
However what I am going to do is illustrate some people who understood our need for guns, and spoke about that need:
“When only cops have guns, it’s called a “police state.” Love your country, but never trust its government – Robert A. Heinlein - American Science Fiction Writer.
“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson, 1 Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 - Third President of the United States.
“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.” – George Washington – First President of the United States.
“The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.” – Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers at 184-188 – First Secretary of Treasury of the United States.
“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” – Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759. – Sixth President of the Supreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania.
“Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government’s purposes are beneficent… The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well meaning but without understanding.” – Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis
“This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember it and overthrow it.” – Abraham Lincoln, 4 April 1861 – Sixteenth President of the United States.
“One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms.” – Constitutional scholar Joseph Story, 1840
“The bearing of arms is the essential medium through which the individual asserts both his social power and his participation in politics as a reasonable moral being…” – J.G.A. Pocock, describing the beliefs of the founders of the U.S.
“Men trained in arms from infancy, and animated by the love of liberty, will afford neither a cheap or easy conquest.” – From the Declaration of the Continental Congress, July 1775.
“As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives [only] moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and other of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let you guns, therefore, be the constant companion to your walks.” – Thomas Jefferson, writing to his teenaged nephew. - Third President of the United States
“No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.” –16 Am. Jur. Sec. 166 late 2d, Sec 256 (Unconstitutional Official Acts)
“The state calls its own violence ‘law,’ but that of the individual ‘crime’.” – Max Stirner – German Philosopher
“Taking my gun away because I might shoot someone is like cutting my tongue out because I might yell ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theater.” – Peter Ventoklis
“The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them.” – Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story of the John Marshall Court
“A militia when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves… and include all men capable of bearing arms.” – Senator Richard Henry Lee, 1788, on “militia” in the 2nd Amendment
“Are we at last brought to such a humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our own defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in our own possession and under our own direction, and heaving them under the management of the Congress? If our defense be the *real* object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, of equal safety to us, as in our own hands?” – Patrick Henry, speech of June 9, 1788.
“To disarm the people… was the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” – George Mason, speech of June 14, 1788.
“The great object is, that every man be armed. […] Everyone who is able may have a gun.” – Patrick Henry, speech of June 14, 1788.
“Such are a well regulated militia, composed of the freeholders, citizen and husbandman, who take up arms to preserve their property, as individuals, and their rights as freemen.” – “M.T. Cicero”, in a newspaper letter of 1788 touching the “militia” referred to in the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
“The the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizen from keeping their own arms… -- Samuel Adams, in “Phila. Independent Gazetteer”, August 20, 1789
“The danger (where there is any) from armed citizens, is only to the *government*, no to *society*; and as long as they have nothing to revenge in the government (which they cannot have while it is in their own hands) there are many advantages in their being accustomed to the use of arms, and no possible disadvantage.” – Joel Barlow, “Advice to the Privileged Orders”, 1792-93
“[The disarming of citizens] has a double effect, it palsies the hand and brutalizes the mind: a habitual disuse of physical forces totally destroys the moral [force]; and men lose at once the power of protecting themselves, and of discerning the cause of their oppression.” – Joel Barlow, “Advice to the Privileged Orders”, 1792-93
“You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the great struggle for independence.” – Attributed to Charles Austin Beard (1874-1948)
“Every Communist must grasp the truth, ‘Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.’ – Mao Tse-tung, 1938, inadvertently endorsing the Second Amendment.
“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.” –Robert A. Heinlein, “Beyond This Horizon”, 1942
“The right to buy weapons is the right to be free.” – A.E. Van Vogt, “The Weapon Shops Of Isher”, ASF December 1942
“Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon – so long as there is no answer to it – gives claws to the weak.” – George Orwell, “You and the Atom Bomb”, 1945
“Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under and government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms. […] the right of the citizens to bear arms is just one guarantee against arbitrary government and one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proven to be always possible.” – Hubert H. Humphrey, 1960
“No matter how one approaches the figures, one is forced to the rather startling conclusion that the use of firearms in crime was very much less when there were no controls of any sort and when anyone, convicted criminal or lunatic, could buy any type of firearm without restriction. Half a century of strict controls on pistols has ended, perversely, with a far greater use of this weapon in crime than ever before. – Colin Greenwood, in the study “Firearms Control”, 1972
“Let us hope our weapons are never needed –but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government – and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws.” –Edward Abbey, “Abbey’s Road”, 1979
“If I were to select a jack-booted group of fascists who are perhaps as large a danger to American society as I could pick today, I would pick BATF [the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms]. – U.S. Representative John Dingell, 1980
“… a government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any particular individual citizens…” – Warren v. District of Columbia, 444 A.2d 1 (D.C. App. 181)
“The conclusion is thus in inescapable that the history, concept, and working of the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commentator and court in the first half-century after its ratification, indicated that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner.” –Report of the Subcommittee On the Constitution of the Committee On The Judiciary, United States Senate, 97th Congress, second session (February, 1982), SuDoc# Y4.J 89/2: Ar 5/5
“I don’t like the idea that the police department seems bent on keeping a pool of unarmed victims available for the predations of the criminal class.” – David Mohler, 1989, on being denied a carry permit in NYC.
“Americans have the will to resist because you have weapons. If you don’t have a gun, freedom of speech has no power.” – Yoshimi Ishikawa, Japanese author, in the LA Times 15 Oct. 1992
“You know why there’s a Second Amendment? In case the government fails to follow the first one.” – Rush Limbaugh, in a moment of unaccustomed profundity 17 Aug. 1993
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. – John F. Kennedy

As I continue to read “The 5000 Year Leap,” I continue to learn more and more about this nation’s constitution. So I figured why not write a blog about recent violations of the constitution of the United States. First let’s look at the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States: Amendment 1: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, of prohibiting the free exercise thereof; of abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
Ladies and gentlemen this is considered by most Americans to be the most important right that is granted to the people by God. From reading “The 5000 Year Leap,” I learned what Thomas Jefferson meant by a “wall separating church and state…” Yes, Thomas Jefferson said those words but he wasn’t speaking about State governments when he stated “state.” According to his writing reflected in the book “The 5000 Year Leap,” “…the Federal government including the Supreme Court was restricted from dealing with issues of religion…” It was for the States to decide and to impose “equal religious freedoms…” So to wrap up this error and violation of the constitution, the States were to be in charge of making sure that Religion was free for all in all states, and that the Federal Government was restricted from interfering with that, due to Thomas Jefferson’s “Wall of Separation between Church and State.” The States were responsible for making sure that you were allowed equal religious rights… and that was the meaning behind the “Separation between Church and State.”
The Federal Government in the same instance is “not allowed” to interfere with a citizen’s right to free exercise of religion. However they do, “The Supreme Court has ruled that crosses or other religious symbols were not allowed to be placed on Public property also known as, State Government land.” This is wrong according to our founding fathers… The Supreme Court is not allowed to rule on religious matters according to our founding fathers. They [The Supreme Court] are blocked by the “Wall” “Separating Church and State.” Again as with above, the State is in charge of establishing that all citizens have the free and equal right to religion.
Our founding fathers realized that this country should not punish people for their free and open expression of speech. However, this sentence in our constitution is violated every day. People are arrested for speaking their minds in the streets HERE IN THE UNITED STATES… People in San Francisco were arrested for reading in the streets their own bibles. PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED for speaking and acting on their “Freedom of Speech”. “A family in Minnesota was arrested for dispensing bibles at a “Gay Pride Festival” (http://wcco.com/local/pride.festival.bibles.2.1062857.html).” “A Pastor in Kansas was arrested for reading a bible verses at an abortionist’s church…” (http://www.operationrescue.org/archives/minister-arrested-for-reading-verse-at-abortionist%E2%80%99s-church/) “A queer activist was arrested for carrying what police judged to be a Homophobic placard which she took to a protest against homophobic rally…” (http://www.indymediascotland.org/node/15704) These are just a few, ladies and gentlemen, people arrested for expressing their Freedom of Speech. Ladies and gentlemen I don’t care whether a person’s opinion supports mine or is against mine, we’re all “created equal, and we all have the right to Freedom of Speech.”
The people have the right to freedom of the press as well. Ladies and gentlemen policies and legislation, such as the “fairness doctrine,” have disturbed and disrupted that freedom of the press. However we must look at who is considered press? Who decides who the Press is and who the Press is not? Thomas Jefferson indicated in his writings who is included in the Press, and here is what Mr. Jefferson had to say: "The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure." --Thomas Jefferson to Lafayette, 1823. ME 15:491” So from what Jefferson said, public opinion is considered Press, and it is permitted to freely be expressed. So the “fairness doctrine” which was first passed in the 70s, violated the “Public’s” Freedom of the Press.
The people have the right to peaceably assemble, and I assume that we will keep assembling even if Nancy Pelosi wants to call us a Mob, or even Nazi’s the only problem for her is she might be booted out of office… The people have the right to peaceable assemble such as what they are doing at the Town-Hall Meetings. Ladies and gentlemen we must make sure that we keep this alive. We must make sure that we always have the right to peacefully assemble and that we are always allowed to peaceably assemble, However as I have stated above, some are being arrested for peaceably assembling, and it is also wrong that cities make people get a “permit” before they can peaceably assemble. It is our right, why should we need a permit…
As citizens we finally have the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, that is what we did to the British Empire. We filed a petition with the British Government because they were being over-bearing. What did this petition do? It granted us Independence from the British crown. It started the United States of America as we know it. The founding fathers just assume that American citizens should have that same right. So in the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States they gave us the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

We saw how angry people were during the Tea-Parties; we saw how they were “Taxed Enough Already” and they weren’t going to take it anymore. But now it is not just about taxes increasing, it is about our Government; the Government of the United States wants to take control of Americans health care. However again just like at the Tea-Parties, the people are coming out, except this time they are able to express their grievances to the people who are supposed to be representing them. This new health bill is a horrible invasion into people’s lives.
I have the entire bill on my computer and I was able to read through the first 200 some pages of this bill. Under the current bill here is what would happen. Say, you have Health Insurance now; Obama states that “…if you are happy with your Health Insurance you can keep it…” We’ll according to the bill that is correct but there is a stipulation; according to the bill “your current insurance company after a certain time cannot accept anyone else.” If you’re insurance company doesn’t stop accepting people they will not qualify as an approved Insurance company.
So here is what happens to you, again say you have insurance, and let's say [ooooo] for whatever reason you lose your job… (like that will ever happen), but say you do lose your job, and you lose your Employee-Run Health Insurance you will be forced onto the Government plan… Why is that? Well because every Health Insurance Company if you remember from above was forced to stop accepting new customers… Doesn’t that sound like a fantastic system? Sounds wonderful right, well there is more. There is a whole thing in the bill about abortions as well. Guess what? They’re would be covered for by the Health Insurance that your taxes will be paying for. So in essence you will be paying for all the abortions that occur in this country. I bet the Abortion Clinics love that portion of the bill. If you think that is bad, there’s still more.
Under the plan being pushed by President Obama, the government will decide whether you are qualified to get a certain treatment, or whether you’re just too old, or too young, for a certain treatment. There are previsions in this bill that funds “Death-Easing Services.” That’s right everyone “Death Easing,” when the government which now runs your health care decide that you are just too old they say no more treatment for you.
And finally one last thing, even though the above was enough there is one more pesky thing that just doesn’t make sense. There was an Amendment to this Health Care bill, which would place our Congress under this same plan. (Hey if it is good enough for Americans isn’t it good enough for them?) We’ll obviously no, because the Amendment was shot down in a hail of gun-fire… Wonder why that would have been aren’t they giving the American people the best possible coverage possible?
Well this bill sounds like a winner, anyway please visit www.thedavidhittleshow.com I have 4 banners on their opposing this health bill, pick one and put it on your website. This bill must fail!!! To end my blog:
I’ll leave you with this from President Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpAyan1fXCE
Obama now states: “If you like the Health Insurance you have now; you can keep it.”
Which Obama do you believe???

I’m so sick and tired of hearing about all this spending that is coming down the pike. First was the Stimulus (Bail-Out Bill) [$769 Billion], and then came the Omnibus [$410 Billion], TARP [$700 Billion], and all the other crap. The House passed the “Cap and Tax”, energy bill. We now have this “Cash for Clunkers” which was $4 billion dollars and now they want to put another $2 billion into it… I’m sick and tired or all the spending. President Obama stated: “I lose sleep at night due to the deficit…” Well stop spending into it then Mr. Obama.
At the end of the Bush administration that National Debt was $10.5 Trillion dollars with our GDP almost $15 Trillion... The National Debt is now $11.7 Trillion and the GDP is falling due to the economic slump. The stimulus package that was passed all $769 Billion or it $1.15 Trillion with interest, was supposed to create jobs, however only 5% of has been spent, and the about 80% of it isn’t to be spend until 2010… Unemployment is at 9.8% and is said to be over 10% as of last month. The time is now not 2010, we need jobs Americans need to work, however I have a feeling that Obama doesn’t care about creating jobs. I believe he wants to turn this country into a Socialist country, and the only way to change it quickly is by destroying the economy we currently have.
Socialism is from the definition in the dictionary: “a form of socialism with a democratic government; the ownership and control of the means of production, capital, land, property, etc., by the community as a whole -- combined with a democratic government.” Point is Socialism is an economic theory that involves the government taking over private industry. One form of socialism already in this country is the Post Office. It is a socialist idea, because of the other industries that compete with it, cannot compete with it. UPS or FedEx cannot compete with the Post Office, because even though the Post Office has massive debt, it cannot go bankrupt as long as the government continues to back it.
Many Americans were afraid that this was the direction of GM (General Motors) when the government bailed it out in 2008. If the government would have continued to hold control over General Motors than Ford Motors would not have been able to compete. This is Socialism; when the government starts to take over private companies. Economists acknowledge this as the beginning of the spread of Socialism. With all of the spending, and with all of the take-over(s) I believe this is what President Barack Obama is planning on doing.
The Health Care bill that the Democrats are attempting to shove down our throats is a very, very Socialist, border-line Communistic bill. The Health Care bill will put every American under a government run Health Insurance system. This will put the government in charge of anything that you need. You want a yearly check-up; the government will tell you if you need one. Need massive surgery the government tells you if you are worthy. If you’re elderly and break a hip, the government can tell you that you have lived along enough. That is not American… We have the best Health Care System in the world why would our government screw it up… Well they know they can get away with “reform” because the prices are high, however the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) says that this plan with actually increase prices. This type of Health Care system will go by several names, and the people in charge will find the best one to push the agenda. The one it appears that have choice is the “Single Payer System.” That single payer is the government i.e. you the taxpayer. You will be in charge of paying for everyone’s Health Care including your own.
If you think that this would be a good system lets look at what the government has already taken over. Social Security: $12.9 Trillion in debt (2001), Medicaid: $280 Billion (2001), Medicare Part A: $10.3 Trillion, Medicare Part B: $6.6 Trillion in debt (2001): http://www.ncpa.org/ These are all government programs and there all in debt, also for one last analysis let’s look at the United States Post Office Debt: almost $12 Billion: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/21/AR2009062101785.html
These programs, run by our government are doing nothing but adding more and more to the national debt and it has to stop… The Senate and the House are going into Recess they are coming back to the states go to their town halls, and tell them that Nationalizing Health Care is not the answer, it is too expensive and it must not be allowed. Use Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare as examples, they don’t work and neither with Government-Run Health Care. The Democrats are going to try to pass this bill with only 51 votes in the Senate, if it does pass, this country, you, your parents and your friends will forever be altered by it. But first it must pass the House of Representatives, We Must Not Allow the Government to take over a perfectly good system. STOP THEM NOW, call them, e-mail them, go to a town-hall, go to a tea-party, and tell them what you think. Please for the love of your country, do not sit by and allow them to forever alter the way our country is run.
